Final Paper Submission

All accepted paper are required to make either an oral or poster presentation at the conference.

The final acceptance of your paper is subject to:

• whether the final revision of the paper has incorporated reviewers' comments,
• whether the paper conforms to the LNCS and/or other journal's publication format, and
• registration for the conference.

The procedures to submit a final copy of an accepted paper are outlined below. Please follow the instructions carefully to assure your paper will be included in the conference proceedings or journal special issues.

ICONIP2006 LNCS Proceedings (Oral & Poster)

Revision & Format Information

• Each paper must be revised according to feedback comments from the ICONIP2006 reviewers.
• For Oral presentation, the page length should not exceed 10 pages.  You may add 2 additional pages with USD $50 per additional page charge, payable in the registration.
  
• For Poster presentation, the page length should not exceed 8 pages.  You may add 2 additional pages with USD $50 per additional page charge, payable in the registration.
• We highly recommend all papers to use the LaTeX Template.  You may find other templates <here>.
• Page numbers should NOT be shown in the final submission.
  
• The final submission MUST be in a valid pdf format.
• Each paper MUST submit a valid LNCS Copyright Form.
  

Submission Information

• You must submit your final submission in the pdf format as an attachment to <iconip2006-finalsubmission@cse.cuhk.edu.hk> with the subject: "ICONIP2006 Final Submission of XXXX" where XXXX is your paper ID.
• In your email, please make sure the TITLE, AUTHORS (first name and last name), AFFILIATION(S), and ABSTRACT are entered EXACTLY as written in the paper.  Incorrect entries may result in papers being listed incorrectly in the “Final Program” and other publications.
• Submit a printable file of single-sided final (camera-ready) version of the paper which strictly follows the format requirements of the Springer LNCS.
• Submit ALL source (input) files:
• For LaTeX and TeX users:
• For example, LaTeX2e files for the text and PS or EPS files for figures.
• Final DVI file (for papers prepared using LaTeX/TeX).
• Final PS file (please avoid using the option "reverse order").
• Final PDF file (if possible).
• For Microsoft Word users:
• RTF files (for word-processing systems other than LaTeX/TeX). Zip all files on the paper into a single file with the paper number as the file name.
• Submit the LNCS Copyright Form (scanned version is o.k.) with the following as an attachment in the email:

Registration

An accepted paper will be published in the proceedings or the journal special issues only if the final paper submission is accompanied by registration and payment information for at least one of the authors. Please complete the registration as soon as you submit your final paper. VISA Information

Visa applications may take several weeks to be processed. It is therefore recommended that participants initiate the application process if needed as soon as possible.  Please refer to http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_4.htm for information on visa requirements for entering Hong Kong.
